About iVention

iVention was founded in 2009 by a group of LIMS and ELN experts with the aim to develop a new Lab Automation platform based on the latest technological standards (including Web, Cloud and Mobile). iVention has since grown into an organization with more than 65 employees worldwide, consisting of a mix of highly trained and highly experienced consultants and Informatics experts. iVention has established an information security management system against the norm ISO 27001 (certification of compliance since 2018).

About the iLES Plattform

iLES (iVention Lab Execution System) is a 100% web-based platform with full LIMS, ELN and SDMS functionalities. The flexible entity model of iLES makes the system very suitable to efficiently automate both routine and non-routine (research) processes. iLES allows customers to fully comply with GxP standards, ISO 17025 and 21 CFR part 11 standards.

The functionalities of iLES range from project management to the control of instruments (bi-directional links), quality control, results processing, sample tracking, storage and stock management, monitoring of samples in the laboratory, work instructions, bar code scanning, document management, collaboration (portal), reporting, etc.

 

Position: QA Assistant (80 to 100 %)

This document describes the responsibilities and the required skills of an iVention QA Assistant that supports the organization in documentation and communication of the applied processes and as a result of that, to show compliance of the delivered services to ISO27001 and other relevant norms and guidelines. The person is a member of the iVention QA team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with information security management system requirements (ISMS, ISO 27001)

  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and EU security laws and regulations

  • Establishing and enforcing ISMS policies

  • Conducting cybersecurity training for employees and stakeholders

  • Coordinating with technology and business teams to assess risk

  • Supporting internal and external audits to identify weaknesses and implement improvements

  • Supporting supplier selection and monitoring activities

  • Identifying, evaluating, and reporting on information security risks

  • Staying current on IT security trends and news

Required Skills

  • 3 years experience in an ISMS related position

  • Experience in writing and managing ISMS related documentation

  • Understanding and knowledge of information security management systems (ISO/IEC 27001)

  • Understanding of information security and data protection laws and regulations

  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Good communication skills

  • Good writing skills

  • Stay calm during times of stress

  • Able to assert authority

  • Be independent

  • Fluent in English

 You will work together with our experts in the iVention headquarter in Zwolle to enforce compliance to our established ISMS. Your role is to support iVention employees in establishing ISMS procedures, to follow the created documents and to collect the evidence in order to show compliance to the standards we have to follow. The possibility to work from remote can be discussed.
